Nadra Foundation Empowers Over 800 Women in The Savannah region of Ghana
Nadra Foundation, a non-Governmental Organization, has started its outreach program to empower women across the sixteen regions of Ghana.
Women in Salaga, Sawla, Tuna, Bole, Daboya, Yambong, Sankpala among others in the Savannah Region of Ghana were taken through Detergent Making, Bath Soap Crafting, Liquid Soap preparation, Soda soap Production, Pomade formulation and herbal ointment making.
Over 800 women in the Savannah region were trained.
All women who took part in the training were given certificate of participation after the training.
The bus of skills development by Nadra Foundation is expected to touch down in the remaining 15 regions of Ghana.

Nadra Foundation supports Nsawam Female Prisons
Nadra foundation has donated items worth over GH¢10,000.00 to the female inmates of the Nsawam Prisons.
Speaking in an interview with the media, the Chief Executive of the Foundation, Nadia Dramani observed that, supporting and empowering women is a main core of the organization hence the donation to the female inmates to remind them that they are not neglected because they are confined but they have people out there who care about them and are ready to support them during and after the reformation to make society a better place for all.
Some of the items donated were sanitary pads, toiletries, packs of bottle water, sachet of water, cooked rice among others.
“This activity will not only end here. we will continue to come from time to time to aid you in whichever way we can”. Madam Nadia added.
Receiving the items on behalf of the inmates, the Deputy Superintendent of Prisons, Grace Addai commended Nadra foundation for the kind gesture and however called on other civil organizations to emulate the kind gestures by the foundation.
